Chapter 2, page 3Choose a subject that fits into the time frame allotted to you. Be sure that
you can talk adequately on the subject, within the time allotted to you. You can even narrow a broad subject, and limit yourself to some aspect of it.The choice of a subject should suit you, your audience,
the occasion and the length of time allotted to you. In short, you should select a 'Subject' of your interest. Then narrow it down as a 'Topic' to fit into the time frame. And give it a catchy 'Heading'
to attract the attention of the audience. Finally, if you think that the specific topic given to you, is not in line with your specialization or interest, you may suggest another topic, which you feel
would be more suitable for the occasion. Otherwise, politely refuse the invitation. It is good to be silent, than to speak on something you are not sure of. Click here for Chapter 3... |
